What would be a good replacement flow control valve for the Coralife super skimmer 125.

I find the one included to be way too sensitive for me.

I found that 1" PVC fits in nicely to where the output tube connects so I am thinking that I could leave the valve it came with fully open and control flow with some type of valve that is more precise on the adjustment.

Also would like to know where online to buy this valve.

I put a 1" gate valve on mine works great....leave the other knob wide open

Thank you for the reply.

How sensitive is the gate valve?

Right now with the included valve it is like the friction from opening and closing the valve is enough to throw the setting off quite a bit.

You can turn the gate valve a full turn.. and it will only equal that friction of a inch
