just got some macro...

I bought some macro from my LFS for my fuge and they gave me a handfull of 3 different types of macro... one of which was i believe Chaetomorpha (looks like knoted up green hair). He told me that the other stuff could go sexual. I heard the Chaetomorpha would not go sexual so I pulled the other stuff out and left the cheaeto. Was this a good idea and do I have to worry about it going sexual?

You have nothing to worry about. Cheato will NOT go sexual and is the best Macro Algea IMO.

chaeto is the only type I use and it is awesome, you should have no problems at all!

this is chaeto right? I think the red is dieback because I didnt notice it before but someone said it looked like red algae

Looks like Chaeto. Try to blow the red off with a turkeybaster if it is not part of the chaeto. If it is not attached it may be dieoff.
