Okay, I realize there are probably a LOT of good places in this part of the country...this is where everything comes in from the Pacific.
I am still in the Army, now assigned to Fort Irwin...basically in the middle of nowhere, 37 miles just to Barstow. I have never been to California before. Will be done with the Army this summer...but would like to see some of the local attractions...LFS's among them of course.
Anything relatively close, say less than 150 miles, worth checking out??? I know there are quite a few California reefers here :)
