Just wondering what the smallest size aquarium in which a Turbelle would be feasable. I have a standard 55 gal (48") in which I house various SPS.

I have never had a tunze product, but recognize that I would benefit from more consistent dispersed flow. I want to get rid of the clutter of so many powerheads. What do you think?

I wouldn't recommend a Stream but you could use a Turbelle Electronic. That tank is too narrow for a Stream to be a good idea, if it was bare bottom you could use a 6000 but really I think the 7400/2 is the best. It still is wide flow, just not as wide- but it is as wide a flow as your tank.

I'm not trying to be contradicting but I had a 6000 in my 55 gallon tank and it worked awesome. I had a ton of rock in there so the sand bed I did have was almost cover by rock. It was mainly SPS dominated too so (1) 6000 might do the trick....

Not a contradiction at all, your advice may be better than mine because I haven't actually tried it.
