Idea to help Reefcentral guys

Our goal is to educate and help schools, public, reefers. Reefcentral is one of the best educational places in the world about reefkeeping.
How about we set something to raise some money to give to RC to help them keep this service and help. We will send a percentage of money from the meeting to REEFCENTRAL or we will set to sell something we make like plugs to go to REEFCENTRAL. I can't see myself without RC and will try to help as much as i can.

how about we setup donation box at these monthly meetings?, bet it would add up by the end of year mo....

we could also setup car washes ...get all the children to do this, ill find a place and we do this once a month, keep the money for RC after all soap and sponges are paid? i used to do that with the soccer team i coached in loyalsock...paid hundreds for there clothes and socks and jerseys, we got most of it back doin car washes ....

mo i think you should keep all the money for yourself for once
the car wash is a good idea, i have a pressure washer. dont know how good it would be with kids though

You could probably make money off the video....... :P

my wife works at Advance auto and i belive the would supply a place and sponges for a car wash.

since this only draws people to the store for them that would help out both RC and Advance

ok i was just informed by my wife that in order to have a car wash at the advance auto it has to be at dewey ave store it by winter hardware but we would need to set this up asap due to many other places also wishing to take the same opportunity.
i was also told that if Reefnest was to draw up a letter head with a reason and what the charity would concern that they will donate items for a raffle or somthing simalar. So plz get back with me on a date that we could do this like a weekend in june or july. this would be great to get the kids out have a lil fun get wet and help out RC.
also we can book several of these if the dates are open my wife says that in june and july that many many people stop in the store and get their car washed while they shop. i think we could make a healthy amount of cash doing so.

i can set a date i just need Mo Frd one of you guys to draw up a letter head and the rest of you guys/girls to gather the kids.
