Mr. Schultz it appears you are the man to answer my question. I bought what I was told a splendid pseudochromis online. The owner ensured that they are community fish. Since adding him into the tank(55g) he has mugged my six line wrase. Is it truly a splendid pseudochromis or some other type. Is this how jouvonials look and they change as adults. Anything I can do to reduce the aggresion.
Thanks.

I'm not Henry, but I can verify that most dottybacks are very territorial and can be aggressive towards most any fish of a similar shape and size to them. Probably your best move is to avoid having any tankmates with them that would fit that bill. In a 55 gallon tank, you likely don't have enough territory, length and width wise, to prevent aggression and defense of their territory.

If this is not a splendid pseudochromis and will not become more vibrant it may not be worth loosing other fish. I need to know if it will change.
