Hello i just got this colony for 5 dollars from a local reefcer it is around 2" high and 3-4" wide i belive. Anyhelp would be great. Sorry for the bad pic all i have is a camera phone

Is there any possibility of a clearer photo? That might get some more reponses...
But regardless, it looks to me like an elkhorn montipora (aka M. hirsuta).

Yep i thought so too. he had it labled as an unknown acro. Any idea on how much i should ask for for a frag of this?

They grow really fast in the right conditions. Most don't encrust too well though.

No SPS will thrive in a tank that has HA flowing on the backplane. It also appears to be a commercially grown piece by looking at the base. Hope you have GL w/ it.

Its not comercialy grown the guys bought some of the plugs from reefer madness. There is not too much HA on the back pane. I will be doing more water changes and it will clear out soon i hope.Plus there is none on the side of the tank with the most SPS for some odd reason its staying on one side of the tank. Thanks
