Hello We have a pair of tank raised black onyx percs with nothing in the tank (55 gal) for them to host yet. They seem to be trying to host the thermometer?? Has anyone ever heard of that? The female really loves it shes on it all the time rubbing on it and just spending alot of time by it. Am i crazy or are they lol. Thanks in advance for your thoughts :)

They will host anything thats a constant in the tank. I've seen them host powerheads, clams, etc. I have a baby clown that's hosting a caulerpa leaf.

You can never predict clownfish. If you remove it after you put in some corals, it might just go to a powerhead or clump of rock. They really get that "clown" name for being such dippy fish. :D
