My husband bought this tool yesterday and said it opens the large 5 gallon buckets with ease so I ran out to the storage shed to check it out on my salt water buckets, holy cow. It pop the edges right up and off the lid popped.
He got it at a tool store , I forget the name but asked him to get me a few more to keep in the house and outside in the storage. Super cheap to. Heavy duty plastic.
Just thought you might like to see it.

Good stuff. Some of those buckets, for whatever reason, are a pain to pry open so this would help.

It does a great job, I broke a nail to the quick the other day trying to get the top off one that I had saltwater storing in.
Hate those lids.

I know how it could damage someone's long fingernails with the force needed to remove those lids.
