You need more fish in there. I would add at least 4-5 more regal tangs.

Now on a true note, I moved all my corals to my 75 today. So far all are going good. The clownfish keep on swmming near them like they can't figure out what it is.

Wow, all the corals look great already. Now time to order the vhos and get rid of these pc lights and then time to stock the tank.

Andrew are you buying a whole new PC setup? If you are I have a buddy that has the 260 Watt Coralife P.C. Lights that Roger (knpjdad) sold with his 75g setup. He is looking to sell it. Make an offer and I'll let him know.

I don't want pc lights. Im getting a 4 bulb vho unit from hellolights. It will be less then $250 with the bulbs. 46.5''

Now wait a second. Are you getting MH or not? You keep saying that you are getting ready to order them but then you keep turning around and doing something completely different.

Its ok. Right now im trying to get my calcium up. I put some liquid calcium in and some lime water last night and its still the same. I would like it to be 400-450 pmm. Right now its only 300 ppm.

For some reason my parents are afriad of a fire happening because of the mh lights. Im still trying to tell them not its not likly to happen if I set it up right. Plus their famous line of, " Thats too much money to spend on a light bulb. "
vho- $243
mh- $305.80
I myself would much rather get the mh my parents let me.

Well, 2 x 175w SE retrofits can be bought on ebay for $200. You could probably find a used aqualight setup here for a little more. I haven't seen VHO, but I'll never use anything but MH again. The shimmer alone is worth the $.

I think im going with the same ones that Dwayne has or the 175 retros on Hellolights that use the XM bulbs.

03/12/2006, 05:29 PM
I thought Dwayne had MH.:smurf:
Andrew
03/12/2006, 05:32 PM
He does. Im getting the same type of mh retros that he has.

OK, I misunderstood. I thought you were buying VHO's instead.
