Hi,

Am looking to upgrdae my "electrical" system and was considering the RK1.

I would like to mount the "power center" on the side of my cabinet but only have 4" of clearance between the side of the cabinet and a wall. Can you tell me the dimensions of the power center, width x length x thickness? If I mounted it on the side of my cabinet do you think I would still have room to insert the plugs from my equipment?

Thanks,
John

P.S. I do have an option to put the power center where I currently have power strips, but these are on the bottom of my cabinet (albeit they are covered by wood shelving) and I was looking for a safer place for the power outlets.

John,

The RK1's Power Controller has the following dimensions.

H = 1.6"
W = 3.2"
L = 9"

I think 4" clearance would be to tight. You option of mounting it under the cabinet should work fine. Just ensure you have good ventilation and the unit doesn't get to hot. Also make sure to use drip loops as needed.
