That rock looks like it's tough to work with, very rounded. I think you've made a significant improvement. If you can, I'd try and make the left side a little more open just to give the fish some caves to swim through (I know from experience, it's much easier said than done).

Definately like the new way better. You could make a small cave on the left side to improve it some.

heh.. there actually is a cave on the left side, i had it all set up then i realized that I still had 20#s of rock sitting in a tub - so I had to fit it all in there somehow.... It would be a lot easier if I had less rock...I don't have a sump to throw any in and I can't really just chunk good rock...
