ok well im still not sure but i think i know what i want to have in my tank. I have a mh 280w and a css65 and my tank is a 25gallon.
2 percula clown fish
1 RBTA
6 blue leg hermit crabs
2 scarlet hermit crabs
6 astrea snails
6 nassarius snails
2 cerith snails
1 emerald crab
1 Yasha Goby
1 Candy Stripe Pistol Shrimp
1 flame angle?
20# live rock
20# live sand

i dont think you need that much light.. A 175watt would be perfect...
i agree on passin on the flame. Maybe a pistol shrimp/goby pair and a pair of firefish would be cool.

well the mh alone is 175w with the acents its 280w. is that still to much light

That light is fine IMO. Will you be keeping any SPS?

BTW those crabs might/can/will kill your snails for their shells. Be sure to have some shells laying around the tank as the crabs grow.

well i would like to keep sps but there might not be enough room with the anemone. but if there is then yes.

I would pass on Nassarius snails. (or just get a couple). I have a dozen and I think they were a mistake. They are carnivors, and are only useful if you overfeed. They do stir a sandbed, but that is all they are good for. They also leave slimy trails everywhere. In fact...come to think of it, on the off chance you're in my area you can have 6 of them....
