can you mix and match brands? one brand booster pump, one brand membrane, etc?

if so are either of these good deals/ good units?

I have a Coralife PureFlow II one but it doesn't work.....* i don't know if that means its the pump or another part controlling pump maybe??

i have the air water ice and that pump that i also got off of ebay.. works no problem...

first 2 links not working for me...

they offer accessories with it....do i need any or just pull old and plug inline new?
