The much planned scale down from 120 to 72 gallons has finally occurred. I now have quite a bit of extra live rock. Some is coralline encrusted, some is not. Some tonga branch as well as a bunch of other pieces collected over the years. Lots of small pieces. $2 a pound. PM me or call Jon at 920-662-7564. Maybe 60 lbs total.

Sorry,
With tearing down the 120 and installing carpeting on the first floor and painting the first floor the next three days, I dont have time to take pix. THe tank is a standard four foot 120 gallon with pine stand and canopy. The tank is drilled and comes with the plumbing for the two overflows.

Still quite a bit left. About 20lbs was sold this afternoon (Thanks Dan!) Give me a call (662-7564) or pm me and we will work out visitation rights. Probably 50 lbs or more left.

Rock is all tentatively spoken for. I will post again if more becomes available after the new tank is up and running. Thanks to all who purchased or inquired.

I got about 10 lbs of rock from Jon last night, very nice stuff.

Jandlms: There was a little anemone on one of the pieces, green with pink tips...Is this the kind of anemone we were talking about, or should I remove it?

That is the anemone (its sold on reef central as a tulip anemone). They do spread but do not seem to reach epidemic proportions in my tanks. They also don't seem to bother any of my other corals. If they seem to be a bother give it a shot of kalkwasser or joe's juice. They ought to do the trick.

I got em too on some rock.

I think that they are called majano anemones.

IF you dont want them, hit em with kalk paste as John said. That should do the trick

NOT Majano anemones as far as I have been able to determine. I recently picked up a few and had to eradicate them with Joe's Juice. It worked very quickly but they were radically different from the tulip anemones.

oh.... My apologies. I always thought they were one in the same.

I suppose I ought todo more research next time before I make an uninformed opinion.
