Lets see what members in the area are using and maybe post some pics of ours tanks and set-ups. I will start but I currently don't have any pictures.

120g AGA w/Megaflow overflows
30g Berlin Style Sump
EuroReef RS8-2
Dual Panworld 100px Pumps running Penductors
Dual Tunze 6100's on a 7095 Multicontroller
Dual 250W Metal Halides

Thats about it, no sand and the base rock is supported by a PVC rack.

So lets see 'em.

65 gal megaflow with a 26gal rubbermaid sump driven by a mag 18 on a SCWD
Corallife Skimmer on maybe 10% of the time(?)
1 SEIO 620 for extra movement
4" DSB (1/2 southdown, 1/2 Geomarine)
50lbs of fiji rock.
2x 400w 6500k Iwasaki.

I think thats about it.

30G tank for softies and other miscellaneous corals
Prizm Deluxe protein skimmer
175W mh/150w VHO
About 50lbs of LR
about 1-2" sandbed
Powerhead for water movement

55G For softies, lps,sps,anemones and clowns, tang, etc.
2X150W MH / 2X110W actinic VHO
Around 50-70lbsof LR
awesome skimmer(don't know the brand anymore)
HOB skimmer, fuge, small sump combo
three or four powerheads

30G tank for softies and growout
3X95W VHO
DIY protein skimmer from English Mike/ was on a 150G
Well over 50lbs of LR
about 4" sandbed


Soon to be commissioned:

180G w/dual overflows for moving all the softies into
ASM G5 skimmer(up to 700G) with one pump recirculating
modification
150G sump
Undecided on lighting, but have some of the setup already
mag 24 return


When I do this, I will use the 55G for sps. I will use the 30G's for prop/frag tanks.

On the right hand side of the pic, the tank looks deeper with the way the coralline is scraped on the back.

Thanks. You can see a spot I scraped last which I guess corraline didn't grow on as much. I'm trying to keep it clean so it is solid black but it is tough.

aqua medic turbo flotor multi skimmer
tunze 3100 osmolator ( water top off )
100 lbs of live rock
little giant 2md return.
17 -20 gallon sump
2 maxi jets 900 ( working in that area )

can think of any more at the moment. my stand and canopy are formica finished. will look for the same in future upgrades ( water proof and wipes off to good as new )

oh and i use the typhoon III for rodi
