Looking for the same info
Also what if you alredy have drywall or partical board up.
What kind of finish will help seal it?
Thanks
If I put up dywall I plan to line it with aquatile. I was hoping there was something I could use on its own without drywall.

You can try a product called Densarmor plus, you may have to purchase from a drywall supply yard. It looks and installs just like drywall. It is much more moisture resistant than MR board. It is about 50% more expensive than drywall though.

We used the standard Green-Board drywall with a heavy rolled primer and three coats of sprayed / back rolled color.

I already had drywall with my old tankset up. It got wet and sprayed with water several times and I decieded with the new setup i am going to put FRP panels on the wall. Glue them directly to the dry wall. Looks really nice and clean and is water proof.

FRP is good but expensive. Option I went with was to go with green board then 2 coats of Kilz premium, then 2 coats of Interlux Bilgekote waterproof paint. Makes the whole room totally waterproof and anything will wipe off real easy! jnarowe is also doing this. It works well and is significantly cheaper then FRP.
