I found a bag of salt that has been sitting for I don't know how long. It it open and don't know why I misplaced it. Is it still ok? I would not guess it's more than 6 or 7 months old. There seems to be a few (well, many) clump in it. I hate to just toss it out if I can still use it, just don't know if the humidity or air exposure has an effect on it.
Any idea's or suggestions?

Water is heated so I guess I'll toss in a 50/50 mix. Old and new salt. We'll see what happens.

I hope it doesn't go bad, 1 bucket lasts me for over a year.
