I've been through a couple of different kalkwasser pumps, none of which seem to last for more than a year or so. What's the best kalkwasswer pump out there? I'm mixing my limewater in a seperate 32 gallon container and using a level swicth to turn on the pump to control level in my sump so I don't really want a bunch of flow all at once.

I thought this string was interesting, discusses a kangaroo brand dripper:

Evidently, a lot of people use them, I'm just not sure about how to have the alarm they mention deactivated...

If anyone knows, please let me know...

Thanks

I push my fresh water into my reactor instead of pumping it out so the pump is always in fresh water. I use an external mag 2 as a mixing pump mounted high externaly so the settling lime doesnt settle into the pump. works great.

moumda -- I would get a peristaltic pump like the kangaroo, nautilus, litermeter III, osmolator, or the like. I use a 44 gallon trash can myself.
