I would be interested in about half of the rock and the powerheads, if you decide to part out. Which ones are they 1200s, 900s, etc? What brand and types are the test kits? I couldn't take any live stock because I am still in the setting up phase.

I have 2-1200 powerheads and 1-900.
I have 5 Salifert test kits and 2 Red Sea. Nitrite, Nitrate, Iodine, Calcium, Ammonia, pH & Alk, Phosphate.
If I could get rid of all the livestock first then I would be glad to break everything else apart but I have to know that I can sell off everything before I start doing that.

If you like, then please make an itemized list of your livestock and rock and sand with the price you want and note what needs to be sold before you can part with it (like all livestock must be sold before rock and sand are let go).
After that, you can start a new thread and sell your equipment together or as a whole. If you are willing to ship your equipment (except for the big stuff like tank and stand), you can post it in the "Used Equipment & Drygoods Selling" forum after checking for a local buyer here. You may be able to get more parting out than selling it as a whole -- it just takes more work.
P.S. You might want to take and post pictures, too. They make everything sell faster -- especially the livestock.
P.P.S. I might be interested in the Calcium test kit, too -- I hosed my a couple of months ago when I knocked over one of the chemicals and lost it all.

P.P.P.S. : Which Lebanon, TN are we talking about? Four come up on Mapquest. There is one East of Chattanooga near the Georgia border and another a little East of Nashville on I-40. The other two are closer to Memphis.

I didn't realize there were so many Lebanon's in TN. Sorry! I in the one just east of Nashville. It's about 1.5 hours from Knoxville.
I'll try to post specifics later in the day and if I can find time to get decent pictures today then I'll do that too. Most of my pictures are old and things have changed a lot.

I'm interested in all of the powerheads & most of the test kits (ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, ph & alk, phosphate, and calcium (unless Runner wants it)). I can send paypal right away.
Would you be willing to ship? If so, how much total for all of the things listed and shipping to 37998? I can wait a little while if you need to get rid of livestock first.
You can take me off the live rock list. I'm gonna try making my own first. Anyhow, if you can ship those items I would appreciate it and could send paypal immediately.

I do want the Calcium test kit. :) And the iodine and strontium. And perhaps the Seachem stuff -- I need to see which ones I use at home. I think I just use the builder, not the buffer. I'll get back to you tonight.
And I'd like to see pics of the ricordia and mushrooms. I've been wanting to get something like that...
Perhaps we can have one person from our area ride and and pick up everything once we speak up for it. Or box up and send everything to one of us to distribute?

I don't mind shipping small stuff but part of the reason I need someone to come to Lebanon is becuase I have some back problems that cause me a lot of trouble when I remain bent over the tank too long. I need help getting everything out and packaged! And, I've never shipped anything live so I don't really trust that I could package it correctly. I would rather the buyer ensure it is packaged correctly for a safe drive back home. I don't mind meeting someone halfway with rock after all the livestock is gone though. My husband can pull the rock out for me.
Anybody know what I have to do to accept paypal? I'd rather just get a money order and not have to deal with paypal unless that would be a problem for people.

I'll take the red mushrooms and the ricordea if nobody takes the entire system off your hands (and perhaps I can work out a deal for them anyway if nwolfe snatches the whole thing). ;)
This, in addition to the Calcium test kit and the iodine and strontium.
If I go out for the livestock, I am looking at 03/31 or 04/01. I'd be happy to pick up stuff for other people in Knoxville in exchange for help with the gas money. :)

You would need to open a Paypal account to accept a transaction, and there would be fees on the transfer which you could ask the buyer to pay. It is really only very useful to you if you use it to buy things online like at Ebay and the like. It also helps things sell better over the internet because it is convenient and you don't have to wait for a money order to arrive before shipping stuff out. Cash is easier, but it only works when we deal face-to-face. :)

OK, I just got in from a long day and don't have time right this minute to see what's left to sell but someone has to take my clam and clowns. I can't get rid of everything but them! And they are may favorites so they need a good home.
Is Donny (or whoever wants to come Sunday) willing to go into my tank and help me get this stuff out? I need help due to back problems or I'll end up not walking for several hours.
I'll check back later to see what else isn't sold and post a more definitive answer on here about Sunday.

I've also had an email about the clowns but if he doesn't want them, does anyone know if they would be ok if I set them up in a 5 or 10 gallon tank?

Now for the tank. $275 for tank/stand/hood or $200 for hood and $150 for tank/stand. This is an old picture of the tank but since all the contents will be gone that shouldn't matter at this point. Both the front doors and top door opens. The fan is on the top (outside) of the lid due to a planning/measuring error :-) And the back is partially open, covered with egg crate.

@Kim: Thanks! The mushrooms and ricordea look great. My tank is starting to look "reefish" with the new additions. While re-arranging everything to make room for them, I even found my 2 new stray blue zoanthid polyps than ran away and hid under a rock this week.
@skwirl: I thought Donny paid your tab for the filter. I probably should have picked up the money for Donny, though, since he lives near where I work. Sorry about that.
@Donny: Big thanks for picking stuff up for everybody.

Thanks to Donny for all the help in running everything safely to Knoxville and to Runner for coordinating!
Kim--The pair of clownfish is beautiful. They are settling into their new home and have eaten several light meals. They hang out together underneath a tile shelter and come out whenever I'm near the tank.

They're coming out cause they want more than a light snack :) Feed me, Seymour!:lolspin:

I wouldn't want to create a little tank of horrors!
(I will start them on the broodstock "saturation" diet in a few days, I just didn't want to overwhelm them with huge amounts of food too soon.)

bgfish, yes, I still have the wavemaker. Would you like it?
Fishboy42, thanks for the update on the clowns! They rarely left each other's side. Glad to hear they are doing well.
Donny, did the flame recover ok?

Kim, the flame angel is doing great. It is out, eating, and exploring its new home. The royal gramma has been hiding. It cautiously came out today for a little bit.

Donny, thanks! I was worried about him. He totally freaked out when he came out of the tank.
I had the roayl gramma quite a while and it hid most of the time.
After all the rocks came out, I found the snail I was looking for. He was left in the tank and is still in there wondering what he missed. It's sort of sad to see him in there by himself.

I thought this was as good a place as any for an update:
It's been a little less than three months; the ocellaris clown pair have put on some weight lately, and this evening, they are laying their first nest. The eggs are bright orange :D, and there are ~100 so far, but they don't look to be anywhere near finished yet. The pair actually look like they know what they are doing (male is fertilizing properly and all), unlike some other "first attempts" I have witnessed. A new spawning is always exciting, but I thought this one was worth sharing. Their tank is dirty ATM , so I will try to get a picture when I clean it tomorrow (don't want to disturb them right now!)

That is so great! They must be really happy in their new environment. Thank you for sharing the news. I've been wondering if they were ok and this is so exciting to me. I can't wait to see pictures.

Unfortunately, the parents consumed the eggs during the night. This happens occasionally, but I hope that they learn to be good parents :) With any luck they will give it another go in a couple of weeks or so. I didn't realize that they were so close to spawning untill yesterday afternoon when they were cleaning vigorously and the female had her ovipositor down, so I may not have been feeding them enough. I will still try to get a picture of the pair so you can see how they're doing.

They are being shy and staying under their tile, but I did get a couple of pictures. I'll be sure to get pictures if/when they lay the nest again so you can see them with the eggs.
