There is a thread in the Reef Chemistry forum with Randy Holmes Farley about the Kent buckets of salt that had production problems and the ca. was measuring 470 and dkh 1.9.

I was wanting to know if anyone has missed this information? I have spoke to several people and they are using the new Kent buckets that have a problem (yellow lettering) but had no idea about the production problem. If everyone has been made aware of this Kent problem then this may be a short thread, but if you are not aware of this, then I am sure you will want to read the thread listed above. If anyone is not aware of this problem with Kent Salt and you are using Kent buckets with yellow lettering, a plastic bag inside and no o-ring, you need to test that salt for ca and alk before you put anymore of that into your tank.
Sincerely,
James Tucker
