MH Bulb ?

one of my 150 watt coralife 20K bulbs has a big black spot on the glass. Looks like the glass is burnt. Does this mean the bulb is done?

Is it a new bulb? Could mean the inside popped, but without seeing it I cannot be sure. Can you post a picture?

It's not new, maybe 6 months old. The outside of the DE bulb is what is blackened.

Doesn't sound good. Sounds like the bulb popped. I wouldn't reuse it.

thanks entropy. Would the bulb still lite if it had popped? It lights fine, just discolered on the glass.
