I have a Jungle Test Kit. The only one my local LFS had. It is Quick Dip Test Strips. It shows a reading of 300(KH) ppm. How does this compare to:
2.5-4 meq/L
7-11 dKH
125-200 ppm CaCO3 equivalents
I am lousy at Math.

Hopefully someone has an answer, until I can order another Test Kit.

300 ppm is roughly 17 dkh or 6 meg/l

Sure hope that test strip is off.:)

Hummm! On the tedt kit it shows from 180 to 300ppm as ideal.
PH shows 8.2
Cal. 450
What is the best test kit to order? My Cal. tedt kid is Red Sea.

What could be making it high? The Calcium doesn't test low.

I am adding nothing! Must be the test kit! Just do water changes. I have been wet skimming lately to try and get rid of some HA and Bubble Algae. I don't think that would effect it.
