Anyone have any good reading I could do on setting up a refugium? I would like to read up on the best way to set it up, what to put in it, what to use as a substrate, everything. Anything would help.

Is there a specific page that explains refugiums on his site? I've pretty much read every page on that site. Built my sump based on all the information there.

I don't know of any pages that talk about refugium setup. A lot depends on what you want from the refugium. Some macroalgae are good for nutrient export. A shallow sand bed will encourage some creatures to grow. A shallow bed of live rock will encourage others. My refugium doesn't have a substrate, just macroalgae and some leftover live rock.
