I found this worm in my tank so i took him out. I read stories about yellow worms killing snails with by covering them in mucus or something like that. Wanted to make sure this wasnt one of them.

I know the picture isnt the best, but its a yellow worm that moves like a centipeed. Anyone know if its safe?

looks like a bristle worm. Alot of people have different opinions on them. They are beneficial to the aquarium. The only ones you need to watch for are the Fire bristle worms, the bright red ones. Otherwise I would just leave them in.

I agree with Andrew, bristle worm. I have also and nothing has bothered my snails except an occasional loss to a crab...but that is the circle of life, right?
