Hi all. This is my first post here, but ive been reading for a few weeks. I just wanted to tell you guys/gals that TBS has got to be the best place for rock that ive found, thanks to this forum and member Biodragen for showing me the way. I cant believe I emailed Sunday night as to where the form was (didnt see web addresse in these posts) had my response by Monday morning, filled out form and was called in about 2 hours 9:30am. Then to my amazement I was loadidng my new rock in my tank by 8:30pm. I couldnt believe it. And I couldnt believe all the life on the rock. After all rock was in the tank, my wife sifted threw the bags to find a few stars and hermit crabs. Rocks havent been in the water for 24hrs yet and she keeps calling me at work to tell me about all the things she keeps finding. Cant wait to see myself...Thanks for the great rock TBS and thanks for the great forum

Yes, I just got my initial shipment yesterday evening and it's great stuff indeed............except for that LARGE green mantis shrimp that made his presence known this morning, I sure hope there's no more of them in there, LOLOL.

Anybody wanna come over and catch him and he's yours! :)

I caught a good sized red one in my rock but I have no idea what I am going to do with him. He\she is in a small tupperware container at this moment.

Thought about putting it in a 10g I am setting up but do not want it to break the glass, which I have heard they can do.

I got 3 mantis in my TBS rock. I used a turkey baster and squirted them with hot water. They came out in a hurry.

I did pretty much the same as Ikaria, but I used cold water instead of hot.

I didn't get any--but I did get 2 Gorilla Crabs. They hide in holes and I just see them peeking their nasty little heads out. The have done no damage that I can see, yet...

I will eventually get them out before I start to add more coral and a fish.
