How much additional space is needed above the skimmer cup to allow easy removal?
Specifically wondering about the A200-1250 or A200- 2x1250
How would the 2x1250 perform with just one pump running? As good as the single pump model, or willl the slightly taller body hinder the performance with only one pump?
Thanks

Nevermind on the 1st question. I just checked, I have plenty of room.

It only takes .5" to remove the collection cup on any of the H&S units, but the more room, the easier it is.
The 2x1260 will be an underperformer on a single pump due to the fact that the Collection Cup Riser is so wide. It will skim, but not as well as the A200-1260.

One other thing about the footprint dimentions. Are the dimentions the size of the base plate only, or does it take into consideration how far the outlet pipe and elbow stick out on the side opposite the pumps?

The size of the skimmer with pipe and elbow. LMK which skimmer, and I can take any measurement you need to confirm it. Some of the measurements are conversions, so to be exact, it would be best to have me remeasure.

At least the A200-1260 or, if I decide to do something crazy. the A200-2x1260.

Brian, when you drill the cup for a drain, do you tap it too? What size is it?

I do drill and tap a drain into the bottom of the collection cup. I use a 1/8" tap and barbed fitting that accepts 3/8" o.d/ 1/4"i.d tubing. Any larger and it tends to get in the way of removing and installing the collection cup.
I should have all the measurements of both the A200-1260 and the A200-2x1260 tomorrow night for you.
