35ppm TDS is bad for reef tank ? What happen when you have high TDS number ? Please help

Most people use RO/DI water purification systems. If you are using one of these and you have that level of TDS then it is time to at least change the DI portion of the filters. Additionally you should probably look at changing the others if your system has any age on it.

35PPM coming out of the faucet is not that bad actually. Mine is much worse.

I would still use a good Ro/DI systme to keep it as close to zero as possible.

TDS is a measure of everything in the water. Most things are no concern, but some things may be, and TDS is not a good gauge of whether they are there or not.

If this is 35 ppm TDS tap water, I don't recommend it out of concern for copper and other issues as detailed in this article:
