Hey,
Anyone care to post some pics of your 9010 or 9015 in action? I am looking for some pics of 9010/15 in sump applications to see how the bubble structure and production is. I want the QUIETEST "high performance" skimmer available. How do these skimmers compare to H&S,Deltec etc ? I have a small sump so the Tunze will work perfectly for me...........as long as its super quiet and works as well as some of the other "high performance" skimmers.
I just ordered a Tunze Master Recirculation Pump (1073.030) for my system and I am hoping its quiet also........
Thanks..........Herbie

I really couldn't say anything comparative, the skimmer works very well for me, and it is very quiet, I don't think you can find anything quieter.

These pics are from when i first added it to my system (which has been skimmerless for over a year - so i really dont have anything to compare it to). I would also like to see pics to compare mine to.

Thanks for the pics alrha.........
Looks like the skimmer is working pretty good for you. Is that a 9015 model??? How about noise ??? Can you hear it over your return pump/plumbing, etc??? I am looking for a very quiet skimmer.
Thanks again.............Herbie

yup, thats the 9015, same as the 9010 only with a bigger cup..
this skimmer is SILENT! there is no way to know it's on without looking at it.

I just received my 9010. It took just a couple of minutes to st it up for sump use. And it is a lot more quiet than my ER 6-2+.

No action/money shots. I am in the very last stages of cooking my rock and going BB. Even tho the 9010 is currently running in my sump, I only have brand new RO/DI water in the sump at the moment. I just wanted to play with my new toy. :D

Thanks for the pics and feedback.............
Exactly what I was hoping to hear (or not hear !).................SILENT !!!!!
These skimmers seem to perform very well, taking up minimal space in the sump, and from what I have heard are ultra quiet! Seems like there is so much hype about some of the other "overrated, big, noisey" skimmers that these seem to be overlooked. I am not buying into the hype..........I think I have decided to go with a 9010..............or 9015 still deciding !!!
Thanks.............Herbie

Yes, my 9010 has an air nipple for ozone.
