I'm really torn!!

I'm about to order my tank and I can't decide on the lights!!

I like th eblue look but not too blue, by what I've read the phoenix or Aquaconnect seem to be the bulbs that fit my tastes...

My tank will be 30" deep, and here's my big dilema:

-> 2x 250W Phoenix DE on ROIII
-> 2x 250W Aquaconnect SE on LAIII
-> 2x 400W Aquaconnect SE on LAIII

I want the tank to be bright AND blue... I plan to keep a mixed reef but since I dont like big, high walls of rocks my SPS will be quite low and this is why I think I need 400W....

help!!

You should be fine with tthe 250 watt halides for your tank, I would only recommend the 400 watters if your tank was 48" deep or deeper.

The 250 watt halides will be able to handle SPS,LPS,Clams etc up to 30"deep.

I would use the LAIII then that would help but 2 SE is going to hard to cover 60" even though they are like 19" or so.

When looking at your pic it seems that 2 LAIII would cover the tank perfectly...
