prizm skimmer not working, need help

Hi All,
I put in a prizm pro skimmer on my 46 gallon bow. The instructions didn't make a bit of sense to me. Basically it looks as though it is just circulating the tank water. It's not "skimming" anything. Does any one have any experience with prizm skimmers? Any advise.......other than buy another brand.......a friend gave this one to me.

you probably need to take the airline tube that runs from the intake tube (u-shaped tube) and change which nipple you are attached to on the collection cup. there are 2 there. One is labeled I and the other is II. Hook up to II

Still having problems. Make sure it is cleaned real good if it is used and it takes about a week to break in if new. I personally am looking for a new one, but it worked well for curing my LR.
