Confirm Urchin ID ..with decent pic

So I saw this urchin at the fish store. Thing is maybe the size of a dime or so. Looked really cool so I got it. Guy didn't even charge me. I think it is a Rock Boring Urchin, Echinometra mathaei, based on what I can find on the net. Anyone confirm that? Also any comments on the species? Thanks

That what I looked up mine as too. I have had many, After a year mine did not get bigger than 3" across, they ate coraline, never seen'em go after macro, on purpose or accident.

Looks like purple urchin, they're fine in reef tanks, they eat coraline but also spread them so don't worry.

cool. I stuffed this guy in last night. haven't seen him since but he is very small. I figured he was fairly safe. Good to know the ID is right though.
