Smoking Endcaps

Hi.

I have a 55 watt Smartlite PC set up tha I recently purchased a blue bulb for. Everything was great except tonight my endcaps on the side that the power is connected started smoking badly.

Im sure that the bulb is fine and i think that the ballast is OK. Is it possible to get replacement end caps from you. They are kind of an odd pin configuration if i remember .

The problem is most likely arcing. This can be cause by moisture getting to the connections or simply a bad connection. Give us a call and we can walk you through some trouble shooting (866) 969-7333. We'll want to find out what caused the problem so we can help you avoid it in the future,
