My sister-in-law is setting up a freshwater tank
Can anyone recommend any forums like this one that she can visit to learn the basics and beyond?
Thanks

Hi,
I hope she will like a planted fresh water aquarium.
As for forums, this one is really great:

For basics, you cannot beat the The Krib although it's not a forum:

i usually like http://www.aquaria.info/ for freshwater forum related stuff. pretty active, usually fast replies. a lot of the stuff is pretty basic and gets repeated often but the forums there are broken up into MANY different areas.
there is plenty of stuff for the beginner there and if the more advanced stuff isnt there already the people there are pretty smart so getting an answer to a question should be easy.
if she has hours to lose herself in a wealth of information, there is always www.wetwebmedia.com
