Iowa City area tank tour.

Who is up for an Iowa City area tank tour? With a holiday and IMAC in April it looks as if the weekend of the 22nd is when it has to be. This can be a great time to have a lot of eyes on your tank and a perfect time to ask for suggestions on how to improve your tank. All we need to know is who is interested in letting us see their tank and we will get a route and time frame prepared from there.

Well, I'd be interested in having people tell me how ugly my tank looks and what I need to do fix it. :P It would take bout 5 minutes to look at my tank setup. Nothing fancy at all.

I know Grinnell is a little far to drive (1hr) to start it off but welcome to do so. If not I can bring some treats and join the tour!!

I won't be able to have my tank in the tour after my recent problem with the anenome spawning or something almost entirely crashing my tank.

It's finally stabilizing again and would hate to have some people come over and scare it into a crash again ;p

How about we meet at my place at around 2pm. Saturday? We can take a look at my tank and then head out from here. Once we are done looking at everyone's tank I will throw on some burgers and dogs on the grill and we can dive into a cooler of beer. Nothing fancy because the wife will be gone this weekend!

Or with the lack of intrest, would we want to car pool up to WLoo and see their tanks this weekend? I have been considering driving up since they have a pretty good tour lined up.

Let me see if I can find a sitter for Saturday afternoon. If I can I would be up for going up to Waterloo too.

Well, if you guys want to stop by my tank on the way up to Wloo you can. It's finally starting to perk back up and my SPS which was bleached from some unknown event is starting to get its color back slowly but surely.

I could use some tips on how to remove the anthelia and change rockwork around :)

Next month, I'm gonna be finally getting a sump made from Hung at SoM so I can hook up the EV180 skimmer.

I don't think that they are having it......I know some of the IC people are comming up for the waterloo area tank tour but I haven't heard anything more about the IC tour.....I think they kinda canceled it due to lack of participation.......You are welcome to come up for ours

Ok, wasn't for sure by the way the thread was going. I will probably make a run over that way today. I wan't to see how Hong's sps tank is coming.

Is there any time that works best for you? I am pretty much piddling today, plan to play a round of golf and work on my stand for my frag tank so I have not set commitments.

Thanks for the invite, that may be a little far for me to drive though, plus the wife is off this weekend and she gets cranky when I disappear for entire days when we happen to have the same day off.
