I am looking into purchasing these yumas. Unfortunately, I do not know a lot about them. I have an SPS dominated tank. Lights are 250W DE MH with VHO actinics. The last time I tried yumas they melted away, but so did the LFS's. I have a couple different colors of florida ricordia in my tank and they are doing fine. Any information will be greatly appreciated.

generally place them in lower light area for the frist couple of dats and slightly increase the exposure of light later on.

Generally, the Yuma does not require as much light as the Ric Florida (except for the orange and pink color ones) you can place them in the lower part of your tank

The only thing that worries me is... the ones that melted on me were at the bottom of my tank.
