I have a large finger leather which was one of my first corals- since then I have added sps and lps corals. Some time ago I bought a really nice, healthy looking green hammer- which gradually receded and died. I have since read that the leather may be sending out terpinides (poisins). Has anyone had this experience- also with leathers and acroporas?

Yes, it's common. Just research for corals that do well with leathers. Mushrooms and zoanthids come to mind.
Put your chemically aggressive corals next to the outflow and downwind of all acros and lps. I've kept them together, but carefully.
