I am having to move and need some advice on the best way to do it . Right now all I have is a FOWL tank with jawfish and cleanup crew. What is the best to make the move? I thought that I would put all of the live rock in a five gallon bucket, only 23 pounds, with water from the tank covering it. Then put the clean up crew and jawfish in another 5 gallon with an airstone running. Then put the rest of the water from the tank in other buckets. I was going to leave the sand in the nanocube, and try to transport it that way.

Is this a good way or am I nuts to try to move it all in one day??
Please help.

you should try putting your water, clean up crew, and even the fish into a new trash can. then two guys can get on a handle and carry it. i moved my tank a couple of years ago with this method and it worked quite well. i also left the sand in the tank and just pumped the water down to its level. as far as my lr i did what you suggested 5 gallon buckets with wet newspaper covering it. i only had to move about a 100 miles but i had very little loss.
