poly filter system Kold Ster-il

Dose any one have any feedback on the poly filter system Kold Ster-il
Do you need to purchase there 10” canister system
Or can you use any brand filter housing

I've looked into this for a pre treatment system but am not sure what I will eventually do versus a RO/DI. I have the single canister for the poly discs and it has a clear acrylic holder tube within the filter housing IIRC.

If you can get water to flow through the discs by another means I dont see why it wouldnt work as far as the discs/ pads go. The micron filter im not sure of and the same with the carbon block, it looks like a Double open end standard filter (the carbon block).
I got my poly disc filter from Cole Parmer years ago and not sure if they sell any poly bio marine filters outside the submicron housing.
