I have 2 ocelaris clowns and i introduced a new green polyped lps and my clowns are trying to host in it, the coral keeps contracting its polyps and the clowns dont get the hint. is their some thing i can do about this or will i have to get a anemone so the clowns will host in that??????????????/

Actually I would think after a bit of time the GSP will get used to them. There are pictures (can't remember where) of clowns being hosted by non-anemones.

What type of LPS is it? Clowns will host lots of things, from what I've read some corals are fine with it (things like hammers) and others suffer from the constant attention (Gonis). If you get them an anemone, they may still choose the coral (or a powerhead, or a corner of the tank, or the heater, or a rock) over the nem. You could try posting in the clownfish forum for suggestions, but AFAIK there's really no way to change a clown's mind about its host, short of removing the host.
