Hi I recieved a shrimp from someone called it a glass shrimp which make sense cos its see through but I cant seem to find a profile on this little invert and when I goole it, it says that this shrimp is for fresh water and not salt however this one comes from a salt water tank? any Ideas please

glass shrimp are feeders, they're generally fresh water species but can survive for a few days in salt. don't waste your money.

So that means he is gonna die them. Damn And I dont have anything else in the tank cos the tank just done cyclying now is this gonna cause major problems for me now???

I think they can be acclimated to saltwater. It might survive. They are used as feeders for various animals. In any case, the shrimp is going to cause a problem either way.

Thanks for all your replies guys. I actually found th little bugger on Liveaquaria.com. It is called a white shrimp and it is a salt water shrimp and not fresh water. However they do use this shimp a fedder to larger fish like seahorses, pipefish, wrasse, gobies, lionfish, grunts. but it cool to use when I cycle my tank so I am glad. Once I start adding fish and its gone at least in know that one of them had a nice feast LOL.

i think they are brackish shrimp from my days with cichlids, but it's probably good for the cycle anyways.

I think Brooks is a good add for a "filler", LJordan will play 16 games and run 1200 to 1400 plus 14 TDs, Moss and Porter will combine for 2200 Yds and 23 TDs, the offensive line will finally dominate with Shell at the helm and defense...well, that's where the problems come in.
