just a quick thought
would a 29 gal eclipse system be a good size for a qt
i mean with the light , filter ,and etc you would think it should be ok
maybee in the near future i will get another fish - been eying up a beautifull queen angel lately
and my ma offered to buy me 1 for my b day coming up in may
probably need to somehow put a skimmer in /on it

I would say it depends. Is all the filtration in the hood like a bio wheel? If so I would put a powerhead in the tank with it. I had a 6 gallon eclipse set up and had my yasa hashe goby in there and I noticed after a few days he wasn't doing so hot, so I transferred him to another tank, where he died the next day. I believe there was a major lack of oxygen and by the time I got him out there was no recovering.

So I would use one, just like I said above, put a small powerhead in there.
