Nice tank man! Glad you like the new macro.

Do you know what the macro on the far left and in the middle of the tank is? Kind of leaf like.

Keep it up!

Looks like an older gorilla crab you have there. HERE'S A LINK (http://www.tbsaltwater.com/thepackage/watchout.html) to some info about gorilla crabs.

It says, "The sure-fire way to spot one of these is to look for the black tips on their claws. As they get larger, they become quite "hairy" all over"

At least it is not in a fish or reef tank. You have an interesting collection of crabs. You should be able to get some freebies from people that are trying to rid their reefs of "pest" crabs.

Cool idea for a themed tank, what do you feed them all?

I think your white crab is what I have heard a lot about lately, called a teddy bear crab. Do a google and you should find plenty of info about them. From what I have heard, they can be reef safe and at the momemt are highly sought after.

the white crab is definitely not reef safe. i pulled him out of my small tank last year because he was killing my xenia. i threw him in my sump for a while then out hinm in with a mantis i had for while. he survived the mantis only for me to put him back in the sump for a while. i then found him again when i thought he was long gone so i started this tank for him. i figured he survived all that i gotta keep him. i feed them the same thing i feed my fish. when i thaw out my mix of seefood i squirt some in the crab tank to. they love it and go crazy. the white crab is a pig. my wife calls him hostess since she says it reminds her of the hostess snowball cakes. the blue crab i got from byerlys he was just a pest the got in on their rock so i took him. the decorator crab is from jacks. i seen him and knew he would be a great addition he is so ugly he is cool.

Cool tank.
Yeah the white crab is a hairy gorilla crab, I got a few as hitchikers with my Tampa Bay Rock.
Do the crabs fight among each other?

the crabs really tend to stay away from each other so no fights so far (at least that i have seen). the tough guy of the tank seems to be the pepermint shrimp. that thing will go up and take food right out of the claws of the crabs and look at them like "what you gotta problem with it". I forgot to say thanks to tabndust. i got the tank from a trade with him a while a go.

so if anyone finds a crab in their tanks they dont want pm me and i will take it.:D

man a week too late. ive had and awesome crab a found in my tank a while ago. didnt see him until i had the live rock for over a year. he was a 3 inch solid DARK black crab. he literally looked like he was sprayed with gloss black spray paint. after i got him out he lived with my mantis for about 7 months and he just died a few weeks ago so i broke down that tank and caught the crab again. i put him in a make shift bucket tank until i figured out what to do with him.......he died last week.
