algae on GSP

Hello folks

Algae has grown over the mat of my GSP and they will no longer open. While it looks like the algae is lessening they a few days ago, still no opening.
The mat is still bright purple though in some sections. Is it a gonner or will it come back? Thanks

it shold be fine, my GSP has some algae on it and it still comes out, its prolly been there for a while, but you never saw it, IME GSP will hiode for up to a few weeks then come out again as soon as it went away
