I just received my new skimmer for my 120 I'm working on setting up. Thought I would share some pics.

H&S A150-F2001 from finsreef.com.

I hope I made a good decision. I got tired of researching skimmer choices.

What a beast! I can hear it grunting now. Growl!

It's late......must sleep.

Awesome! I bet it won't stay that clean for long! I know my skimmer didn't!

Nice looking skimmer, are you going to run it externally?

I am going to run this externally. If I don't like it that way, it can go in sump.

I plan on having a large sump on the other side of the wall from the tank. In an unfinished room. So I have plenty of space. If that plan falls through, this will fit under the stand I built.

I strongly considered the Deltec. I read good things about it and the H&S and decided on the H&S. I really got tired of researching and reading about which one is better.

you bought the cheaper of the 2

brian at fins reef is a good guy and the h&s is built better than the deltec

It was cheaper (but I almost bought a two week old used Deltec AP600 for less) and they had free shipping until the end of March. That saved about $40. I spoke with Brian several times and was impressed with his knowledge and help each time. I just hope it will handle at 120 gal tank with a 70 gal sump.

you should be fine with that skimmer

make shur you clean out the air tube once a week or turn the pump off for about 15 mins every week they really build up some salt creep to block the air intake of the skimmer
