I use sedra pumps on my ASM skimmers. Is it possible to use a needlewheel impeller on the quiet one pumps? They seem to move a lot more water than the sedra's with about half the wattage. My sedra 9000 moves 900gph and uses 90w. The Quiet One 4000 uses 40 watts and moves 1000+ gallons.
Thanks

the needle wheel will cut the flow down. I have never seen a quite one with a needle wheel impellar probably could make one though.

Ah, ok. So if I would manage to get a needle wheel impeller for the quiet one the flow would be lower so I would need a higher wattage pump anyways. Makes sense.
