hi, i have had this toadstool leather for 3years now, i added 3 acropora's to the tank 4 months ago, one needed more current so i put it near my toadstool which cannot be moved. when the toadstool opened it touched the acropora causing the leather to retract and stay like this. this is day 5 now. is the toadstool going to die?:( http://reefcentral.com/gallery/data/513/43247toadstool_leather_after_touching_an_acropora_2.jpg http://reefcentral.com/gallery/data/513/43247toadstool_leather_before_being_touched_by_acropora__2.jpg

leathers are funny , sometimes they will close for days and look just like that pic. But even though its not probably going to die it is not a good idea to put leathers and sps to close together. some people will argue that they shouldnt be in the same tank. leathers are known to release toxins into the water column:(
