was wondering if 250wa metal halides would be enough for a 30'' tall mixed reef no calms and maybe only a few sps if that mainly lps and soft corals

well, I have a 75 gallon acrylic that I just put two 175W metal halides over, and they are almost overpowering. I think 250W bulbs will be more than plenty.
But that's my opinion.
