monti cap queston

i have an orange monti frag that i have been trying to grow out and today i accidentally brok a piece off when i was moving some stuff around. only a small piece broke.... is it gonna die?

Tough to say, but it shouldn't die just because you fragged it even more. Accident or not.

Just get some superglue (I'm not kidding.) Glue the backside of other piece, on a slant, to a bit of rock or dead coral or a shell or whatever, and set it on the bottom of your tank. You now have 2 montis. Corals are colony creatures: they have no heart, no brain. Any part is as good and usually as viable as the whole creature.
