I recently purchased a few polyps of green recordia (maybe 2 weeks ago). First, the second biggest polyp appeared that it had been chunked down to the foot part and turned a brighter neon green, then this white goo started coming out of it and spreading across. Second the biggest polyp has now begun to sink into the crack in the rock and form white goo on it as well. What is going on here? is it splitting or is it dying? just so you know im running a maxijet600 in a nanocube dx with the 48 watt pc's so there should be no flow or lighting problems, my ph is still in the process of building up a stable buffer so its a little low around 7.9 or 8, and my alkalinity is around 7 and im trying to bring it up.

The white goo sounds like its spitting up its guts so whatever its doing its not happy and I would say its on its way out. (wow thats alot of "its" in one sentence :) )
